Oh the Thinks You Can Think

I recently spent many days sitting in a dark empty auditorium. Weird, I know, especially when I looked onto the brightly lit stage and saw a dancing cat in a bow tie and little yellow dressed Whos with a bird with only a one feathered tail flying about. Yes, I had entered the land of Dr. Seuss....in the form of JC Theatre Productions of course.

Breaking the Mold

Here are two little paintings I did in studio class lately. I attempted to break my habit of being an intense itemizer. And, well, here's the results....

Muscle. Power. Strength.

The dramatic lighting in these photos adds to the intensity of emotion. The struggle, the concentration, the power, the tactic. It's all there.
