Well Hey Stranger. Long Time No See.

Hey everyone, I just remembered that I still had this account and that it is still linked to the JC Studio. Since I've moved to MICA, I've also moved my site. The new one is... We're All Mad Here

I am trying very hard to keep it up to date with all the work from my foundation year at MICA. Please, if any of you JC kids have any questions about art school just ask away! Also, Sam and I are more than happy to show you around if you'd like to come visit or hang out in class with us for the day. Just let us know!

Hope everything at JC is going well. Miss it a lot. Good luck everyone!

P.S. I'm also trying to keep my Flikr photostream utd too, mostly from my B&W Photography I Class this semester. Check it out! KDoh PhotoStudio

Oh the Thinks You Can Think

I recently spent many days sitting in a dark empty auditorium. Weird, I know, especially when I looked onto the brightly lit stage and saw a dancing cat in a bow tie and little yellow dressed Whos with a bird with only a one feathered tail flying about. Yes, I had entered the land of Dr. Seuss....in the form of JC Theatre Productions of course.

Breaking the Mold

Here are two little paintings I did in studio class lately. I attempted to break my habit of being an intense itemizer. And, well, here's the results....

Muscle. Power. Strength.

The dramatic lighting in these photos adds to the intensity of emotion. The struggle, the concentration, the power, the tactic. It's all there.

Wrestlepalooza

The lights go dim. The drumline beats out a rhythmic hum. Then one light flips on. The Patriot logo flashes into view. And the competition of strength and tactic commences.

Just Another Day in Paradise

Every Friday morning from 8:14 to 9:28 is AP Studio Time. We're crazy art kids to begin with. It's early. Then add coffee and doughnuts.

Caballo. Cheval. Horse.

"A horse, a horse! My kingdom for a horse!"
At least that's how I feel.
